Oil India Hosts India Energy Week 2027 Curtain Raiser in Jodhpur, Highlights Key Energy Sector Priorities

Jodhpur: Oil India Limited (OIL) hosted the live streaming of the India Energy Week (IEW) 2027 Curtain Raiser in Jodhpur, bringing together representatives from the government, industry, academia, students, media and the wider energy ecosystem.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Saloma Yomdo, Director (Exploration & Development), Oil India Limited, highlighted the importance of India Energy Week as a platform for bringing together stakeholders from across the energy sector. He spoke about the need for continued dialogue, exchange of ideas, exploration of emerging opportunities and stronger collaboration to address the evolving requirements of the sector.
The programme was also attended by OIL’s Executive Director, RF, along with officials from the RF office.
The event brought several key issues shaping India’s energy landscape into focus, including energy security, sustainability, technological advancement, innovation and energy transition. Discussions also highlighted the importance of partnerships and collective efforts in meeting the country’s growing and changing energy requirements.
India Energy Week 2027 is scheduled to be held from 28 to 31 January 2027. The Curtain Raiser programmes being organised across different locations are building momentum towards the flagship energy event and providing stakeholders with an opportunity to engage with its key themes.
The Jodhpur programme marked another step in the relay of Curtain Raiser events leading up to IEW 2027. Through such initiatives, Oil India Limited continues to promote stakeholder engagement and contribute to India’s vision of a secure, sustainable and resilient energy future.
